I don't know if this is the correct place to put this thread, but I have been using wine and I installed Autodesk Maya 2008 on my ubuntu using Wine. I started running it (serial setup correctly) and it's already been 30 minutes and the program is still loading intensively, I was wondering if anyone else has Maya installed on their ubuntu using Wine and see similar performance problems.
on side note, my computer uses Nvidia Quadro with 256 MB, my CPU core2 dual 2.2 GH 4MB cache
