I was addressing the formatting tags, not the character limit. I don't want to be able to write more, i just want to make that which i write look nice

but within reason. I'd be happy if just the color tags wouldn't count towards the total, as I'd be able to color-code the links in my sig. And I'd probably not be able to add too much more to my sig then. I just wanted to be sure that it didn't seem like I wanted a 1500 character word limit for my signature or something silly like that and also, you could remove the BB Code from the limit and drop it to about 450 characters, and it'd all be good (at least, in my opinion it would work). However, this way works too, and I'm setting up a blog for myself, so once i transcribe my how-tos to there I'll be revamping my signature anyway.
