    Black screen after log in

    After installing nVIDIA driver I turned on Visual Effects, but I didn't have window borders. I've fixed that by installing xserver-xgl. However, there's another problem now.

    After log in, I have black screen for like 10 seconds or so. I use Ubuntu 8.04.

    Also, Num Lock doesn't turn automatically anymore after this.
