    the firewall is not a problem (usually) - the NAT is. Which basically means that your internal IP-addresses are not visible from the internet. That is what you need port forwarding for.

    So if you have more that one computer running, you will need port-forwardig, regarless of your firewall configuration

    while re-reading my steps, i found a little hickup. It might be that your openvpn does not start right away because if insufficient rights for log files (nobody is not allowed to write to /var/log) so you might need to create the files and chown them to nobody before the openvpn starts properly...
    Just saw it, thought i mention it.
