I have noticed that the LiveCDs of Ubuntu 7.10, 8.04, 8.04 installed with Wubi, and also openSUSE 10.3 and Fedora Core 9 cannot recogize all of my hard disks at once.
On the other hand, Ubuntu 7.04 and the GParted LiveCD work fine.
I have four disks: two ATA, two SATA. With all four plugged in, the aforementioned distributions only recognize two drives: the SATA ones. If I unplug the SATA ones, I think it recognizes the two ATA disks (possibly only one).
Is this some kind of problem with a recent kernel? What should I do?
