Ubuntu Server in HP ProLiant Server?

    hi...

i would to ask if someone knows or had experience installing Ubuntu Server
on a HP ProLiant DL Server 180 G5 (100 series)?

here are the models and specs:
    http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en...4-3328421.html

i am experienced with Ubuntu Server installing/setting up in a normal pc
but in my workplace we need a rack server and so we decide to buy a
HP ProLiant DL Server 180 G5 (100 series).

so, can i install/setup such a machine with Ubuntu Server?
hp supports red hat & suse (drivers) but i want to stick with ubuntu and
use the knowledge i earn hard in the last 2 years with Ubuntu Server and
not to switch to red hat or suse.

the most difficult part of this is i believe (and after googling) the sas
drivers for the hard disk controllers of hp.

has anyone installed/setup Ubuntu Server on a HP ProLiant DL Server
180 G5 (100 series) with these sas controllers?

please do not ask why we don't buy a Dell Server...
it's the Dell resellers fault in my country
