    Question Spock pinch for screensaver gone South?

    Is there a key combination (like Ctrl-Alt-Del) which will reset my screen (or at least bring up the unlock dialog) whenever my trusty screensaver has frozen the display? Some of these old xscreensaver hacks don't seem to play well with whatever hardware is in this Dell Inspiron 1525 notebook. TIA.

    There's Ctrl-Alt-Backspace, but that also terminates your session and throws you out to the login screen.
