Question Update Manager: Why KDE updates?

I have installed Ubuntu Hardy on my Acer laptop about 2 months ago and I have been playing and learning a lot. I have tried quite a bit of software. I use the Gnome Desktop so how come I get KDE update possibilities in my update manager all of the sudden?

The reason you're getting KDE updates is either you installed applications for KDE desktop on your GNOME desktop. As long as you're system runs perfectly, that's not a problem.
Steady movement is more important than speed, much of the time. So long as there is a regular progression of Stimuli to get your mental hooks into, there is room for lateral movement. Once this begins, its rate is a matter of discretion.
