Still workin my way into this ubuntu thing and thought it was time to see how to get audio cds burnt. Serpentine opens OK and will import stuff stored on my ubuntu system, but when I hit 'add' and go for tunes on my windows machine upstairs, it does nothing. These mp3s play fine on amarok and I can drag & drop from a folder onto the 'blank cd' desktop icon - they load up a list as mp3s - ready to burn thru cd/dvd creator. I dont want to burn a disc of mp3 = want cda format. Anyone know why Serpentine wont import these?
Re: serpentine help?
So I thought I'd just try and bypass this issue and ended up copying the files onto the ubuntu computer. Serpentine loaded them. I started the burn process and now it crashes in the middle there. File conversion moves thru to ~ 50% and then a popup window opens that says 'insert blank cd'. I hit 'ok' but it wont recognize it...just gives me the same popup window over & over. Blow it off and go try a different burn program????
