enable dual monitors/lose internet connectivity

has anyone enabled 2 monitors and then lost internet connectivity after reboot?

I haven't lost the internet but I do have dual monitors, so how did you install two monitors ie so that each is independent with the mouse going from one monitor to the other?. All I get is the same picture on each monitor.

Just unclick the "clone display" box at the top of the screen resolution window. Worked for me.

As for internet connectivity, I have not had that problem. Could you please be more specific about your setup?
