Sorry if I am cross posting. Using Scim-bridge in Ubuntu 8.04.1 am using the phonetic tamil layout. Everything is fine except that if I type "nalam" in English to get "நலம்" in Tamil, I get only "னலம்" . Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I see that my post comes very late.. but anyway...
'n' represents 'ன்'. To get 'ந்' you need to type 'w'. Hope that helps!
Thanks (நன்றி) a ton. I was lost when using the phonetic layout. Could you guide me where do I find the key mappings for phonetic tamil layout. Thanks in advance
