Synaptic GPG Error

When updating my machine, I get this message:

"W: GPG error: http://archive.ubuntu.com breezy-updates Release: The following signatures were invalid: BADSIG 40976EAF437D05B5 Ubuntu Archive Automatic Signing Key <ftpmaster@ubuntu.com>"

I've gotten this now on my g4 500mhz & my girl's sempron 2200 based rig.

Please help me fix. Where do I get or regenerate new GPG keys if that's what's necessary.

Universally,
3j
