Wow.
First of all, I never knew there was a spreadubuntu.org site. I don't know who runs it, but it's not easy on the eyes. Dare I say it looks ugly. Too... much... brown...
flaming, although your site definitely reminds one of the firefox site, that's a good thing. Yours is definitely better than spreadubuntu, just on aesthetics alone.
thats a nice site
Publicity stunts are probably not the best thing for Ubuntu; I think a lot of people would think "Ach, that's just a rich boy [Shuttleworth] showing off his pet project." but I do think a well-designed (I dislike spreadubuntu.org's layout and color scheme) website would definitely be a good thing for Ubuntu.
I like the site! Very well done.
This space intentionally left blank.
Let's see if students/readers/members will take all 200 CDs. Wouldn't be bad outcome of this action, don't you think ? Server is also running on Ubuntu.Originally Posted by zordon
yes this certainly looks better than the spreadubuntu site... maybe they shd let u do the designing..
The page is pretty good , simple , eyecandy , and intuitive.
A little PR is something that in my opinion FOSS needs to gain market share , and once we got a good one , there will be no activex , direct3d , etc.. in the world that can stop us from freely choice the software that we prefer .
There is only one god, and Ubuntu is its prophet.
