Re: What are your system specs

My great machine that does all my trix to me, the most porridgest of the all, great.

Compaq presario 5000 (one of the most ugly computers that ever build)
    700 mhz (duron)
A main board with via chipset that do sux, not via the mainboard, onboard sound card.
128 mb + 256 mb singelsided ram (of course 100 mhz ok cl2 but anyways)
Geforce 3 elsa gladiac 920 ti 500 64 mb (this I bought recently)
    Dvd rom
10 gb seagate at the moment
And a dull weather damaged nic with realtec chip wont work in windows almost at all.

    Adds and modification's
This computer the sold to my father for quite some amount of money, it was dull even back then year 2000, 133 mhz ram I guess they could have get us for that price.
Think the core might be little damage from the beginig always to hot.
It's always been to darn hot, now I have a new cu cooler for 92 mm fans.It cant go fanless with that thing that was little ill.And did move a capacitor so that the cu heatsinker would fit.
A main board that do suck, do not even know how much I can get in this machine if someone does know how many mhz I can put in this machine send me a PM.

It's amazing except for the ATI Mobility, I'd choose one with an Nvidia card

    Mine:
Pentium 4 2.66Ghz (with emt64 and etc, but it sucks anyways)
Used to have 1gb ram (400mhz) it blew up so I'm using 640mb (333mhz)
NVIDIA Geforce FX5200 (2 years old but it's still awesome for me)
    Samsung 120GB HD
ECS Motherboard with VIA Chipset, which is cool enough for me
    8x CD/DVD Burner
Onboard audio (it does support multiple sounds with OSS)

    And my server:
    Intel Celeron 500mhz
    384MB Ram
    Old PCCHIPS Motherboard
    10GB and 20GB Maxtor HDD
    and nothing more, hehe

    Re: Show off your computer!!!!!!

well, i dont have any pictures right now, because i'm in the process of moving, but here goes:

    mythbox:
old IBM Netvista hand me down
    P4 1.8Ghz
    512MB Ram
Low Profile Hauppauge Win-TV PVR 150
    Low Profile FX5200
    300GB HD

    Main Gaming Rig:
    Asus A8n-SLI
    AMD Athlon 3200+(Clawhammer)
    2x nVidia Geforce 7600GT 256MB
    2x 1GB Corsair DDR
    160GB SATA Maxtor
    Plextor DL DVD-RW
    Cheapy DVD to copy from
    Dell 2005FPW
Dell 2007FPW(yes, TWO 20" widescreens. and BEAUTIFUL)
Dapper, and Cedega for World of Warcrack

    Laptop:
    Dell Inspiron 8600
    Intel Centrino 1.6Ghz
    1GB Ram
    80GB HD
    ATI Radeon 9600 Pro Turbo
    15.4" LCD
    Dapper

I'm waiting to order a new Mac until they update them in a month or so for my video editing/music recording. The Myth box and the Gaming rig share one of the 20" displays with a standard KVM, but with their own keyboards and mice so that I can change channels and recordings while I'm warcracking away on my main screen. I've also got a 32" Olevia HD LCD that I can send any of my video sources too via a distribution box. it used to sit happily on the wall next to me, i'll have to figure out placement again when i move. oh the cables.......

    EDIT:
Almost forgot my storage server, it's a Buffalo 1TB SAN. Formatted as a RAID5 with 750GB usable. I'll never lose anything AGAIN =)
