i got a 2.6 amd , 758 ram, 160gb+120gb hds , geforce6200 128 , on a 19" Samsung SyncMaster913v (my precious), with an edirol pc-50 midi controller attatched.
dualbooting feisty and xp pro with everything including the midi keyboard working great on both.
plus an old compaq presario 2100 running strictly edgy connecting wireless.
plus an old 1ghz 512ram gf5200 dualbooting xp and edgy .
plus several other old pc's (a 486, a pentium 100 and a 500 or so i recall) with freebsd and other flavors of linux, that i build and rebuild and test OS's just for the kicks.
all this connected to a good firewalled router and a wireless ap , through a 24Mbit connection.
that's my evil empire
and yea my main computer runs feisty and i use it as my primary OS and no, it's not always crashing. If you're used to Linux, it's a perfectly viable cutting edge OS that i love deeply. Just remember to only do updates when you have the time to fix it, not before working on that important job that you have to deliver in the morning
Reorganization of my machines merited an update
