This has me stumped.
OpenOffice runs a check on your GTK theme to determine if it's dark, and then forces you to use the HiContrast icon set. This problem still exist in OOo3, which really has me tweaking. I have no problems with how my GTK theme operates in OOo, but despise the forced HiConstrast icon set and font colors.
Anyone out there know of a way to force OpenOffice to disable its accessibility options, so I can use my icons?
Eww! Ugly icons!
They're still there in OOo3!
There is a many-month-old bug in the OOo tracker concerning this, but still nothing has been done...
OOo Issue #70501.
