1. sudo apt-get install vlc
2. sudo apt-get install libdvdcss2
These two steps are mentioned in most HOWTOs on enabling DVD playback. And it does work, almost. It's just that the image is out of sync, and you can really see that the VLC struggles so very very much, even when it's not in full-screen mode. And it used to work, using the exact same PC (I haven't changed anything, I just reinstalled it).

Any clues? Recommendations?
