Problem with Totem

Hi,

When I put a DVD in my DVD-ROM Totem starts but I can just hear audio. I cannot see anything.

Any troubleshooting tips?

I had the worst time using Totem to play DVDs and I watch a lot of 'em.

Best thing I did was to install VLC which can handle most DVDs and odd formats. I also installed MPlayer which also does a good job with DVDs. I watch a lot of foreign films and things that have been burned on all manner of DVD recorders. So far these two players have performed really well.

Try vlc and use this http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=770970 to get your DVD's to use vlc by default.
