    [SOLVED] Link DVDs

    Hi
I was wondering if there is a way of putting a file that is too big for 1 dvd onto 2 (or more) dvds??
    Thanks

    Re: Link DVDs

Are you referring to video files, or some other type (eg, .iso)?
I do not use Ubuntu any more, nor have I ever used Gnome. Therefore, I tend to give advice that is distro- and DE-agnostic, which, while perhaps not the easiest way, will allow you to move freely between machines.

    How to split large files

    Re: Link DVDs

For your information: you can do that all "on the fly" in linux by writing to standard output and using pipes. This eliminates the need to write this hughe amount of data several times.
