I have an intel pro wireless 4965agn. With Ubuntu 7.10 and the old proprietary drivers i had no troubles, but now that i passed to 8.04 with the new drivers included in the new kernel (even installing the backports didin't solved much, just got the led working) the wireless isn't working very well. The wireless signal is stronger, but every time i have to connect to another wireless network or i change access point of the same network i have to reboot the computer cos it doesn't identify the new ap/network. In 7.10 everytihng was fine... is there a way to use the old drivers with the new kernel?
