I'm running 8.04 under VMware Workstation, and it doesn't recognize the middle button.

I've searched the forums, and apparently this is a common problem but when I tried monkeying with the xorg.conf file, nothing changes. (Yes, I restarted X.)

Any ideas? Such a PITA to use scrollbars.
