Question Samba: Only read permisson while accessing share

    Hi there,

Since the upgrade to 8.04 I am experience samba access problems:

I have a NAS sharing a folder providing read/write access for my user. Everything works fine from my Windows box and also worked fine with 7.10.

After the upgarde I still have read access, but no write. For example if I try to create a new folder I get a "Permission denied" message.

I am accessing the share via nautilus with

    Code:
    smb://user:password@192.168.x.x/share
As said, this worked fine with Gutsy and is still working fine with Windows, nothing changed on the NAS.

    Any tips?
Would be very much appreaciated as I tried many things already, and searched the forums and google up and down....

    Thank you!
    Tom
