    cups error 8.04

I'm getting the following when I try to print:

There was an error during the CUPS operation: 'client-error-not-possible'.

I'm using an hp photosmart 7150. It used to work with Fiesty and the earlier versions of Gutsy.

I tried enabling hpoj and it did recognize the printer model and that it was connected via usb ... not sure what is going on but i'm close, I can taste it

    I tried doing a /etc/init.d/cupsys restart
    * Restarting Common Unix Printing System: cupsd [ OK ]

but I got the same error

any ideas or more info needed?

    thanks everyone

I get the same error with Brother printers. It just started recently with 8.0.4.1, used to work OK.
