[SOLVED] showing hidden in Dolphin creates loop flashing

it's quite odd, if I show hidden folders via "ctrl + ." it shows the hidden folders and then loops in flashing all the folders, etc.. and this only happens in my /home/username folder - everywhere else is fine.

I'm using kde 3.5.9 in Gutsy w/kernel 2.6.24.7

edit: solved by:- I switched back to 2.6.24.4 & disabled pre-emption. I think it was the pre-emption that was causing it as it wouldn't also let jpilot compile during make.
