Anyone got an MP160 printer working in Hardy without turboprint?

Hi all,
Got this printer working with turboprint driver. Tried the 150 driver from Gutenprint no joy. Also downloaded the rpm's from Canon and followed the all the threads in the forum for installing these but all the printer does is chug a bit, the job window comes up then disappears.Anyone got it to work under 804? or any suggestions.

Hi all,
just reinstalled Ubuntu804 in place of kubuntu804 and the MP160 is printing using the MP150 driver in Gutenprint. It is printing as I speak.
What the $%^%!!!
