Facebook Upload Image page crashes Firefox in Ubuntu 8.04

When I try to upload images in facebook the Java applet starts, and I verify that the application is ok. Then when it is about to start Firefox just closes without notification of any kind.

Anyone had the same problem?

I had the same problem playing runescape [haha shutup lol] with ubuntu 7.04, this maybe connected somehow.

im getting the same problem
first my image uploader wasnt working then i looked around and saw some iced tea rubbish.once i took that out im getting the exact same problem.everytime i say run the stupid firefox just shuts down.i donno wat to do....

hey hey hey guess wat.i just restarted my laptop and opened firefox.the applet now works.try this.
