Dell Inspiron 1520 front panel buttons

Hello, I recently installed Hardy on my Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop. On the front of the laptop there are a set of multimedia control buttons, volume, play, pause, skip, etc. Hardy configures these for me in Gnome, but the problem is I switched to xfce and now they do not function. If someone could point me to a package to install these, or tell me how to enable them with xfce it would make my day. Thanks.

one quite simple way is to use "keytouch". you'll find it in the repos and it's quite easy to configure.
