    ISO Burner

Does Ubuntu come with an ISO burner after installation? Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough (or not being to bright). Anyways, if should be one could someone tell me where to locate it and if there isn't one could you recommend a good one to use in Ubuntu?

    Thanks!

If you're on 8.04 then it's called 'Brasero Disc Burning' Under the multimedia section.
Though k3b is the best burner around.

I'm still on 7.10. Is k3b on 7.10 or do I need to download it.

P.S. That was one of the quickest replies I've ever gotten on any forum.

    Re: ISO Burner

    You have to install k3b.
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install k3b
For the life of me though I can't remember what the burner is by default in 7.10.
But like I said k3b pwns.

yeah K3B is available for 7.10. more than likely you'll need to install it via synaptic or terminal.

Just right-click on the ISO file and select "Write to disc". This functionality is already built in.

yes, k3b by all means. but the easiest way to burn ISOs is still right-clicking and selecting "Burn to disk"
