Click through opaque windows?

I wonder if theres any way to make it possible in ubuntu to click through transparent windows. So if the window is in the foreground, and i click through it, the click will "fall through" to the window behind, or the desktop.

I'm pretty sure this was possible in winxp, i remember messing around with window transparency alot, hopefully it's also possible in ubuntu
