Network Disconnects On Transmisison/Deluge Start

Hey guys! For some reason I lose my connection (wired) to my router when I start transmission or deluge with torrents active. This did not occur in Gutsy, or Windows. The quick fix that worked for me is to manually disable then re-enable networking via the gnome network manager applet, then everything works fine and I no longer have the issue -- until I restart Transmission or Deluge.

Again, it only occurs when I first start Transmission or Deluge.

Any idea what is going on, or how i can prevent this from happening? Your help will be appreciated!

Did anyone ever find a solution to this? It happens to me in Intrepid.
