    Compiz Effects in Virtualization Ubuntu

I've got an iMac with 2GB of RAM and a 2.8 GHz (I think) processor. I've got VMWare Fusion and have been running Ubuntu Hardy Heron in it for a few days. I wanted to install AWN, so I tried installing compiz effects. So far, they are not working. I wasn't sure where the problem was, so I wasn't sure which category to post this under either. Sorry.

But is something wrong, or will it simply not work in virtualization, or will it just not work on Macs? (BTW, what is the super key on macs?)

I am pretty new at Ubuntu. I've had a laptop running Ubuntu for a year or so, but Windows has been my primary OS until the past month when I switched to mac. All help is greatly appreciated.

3D Acceleration is not supported in any VM running Linux, and thus, no compiz.

Apple / Command is the Super key.
