    It sounds like you need to clean everything out. Check out this guide. It's for 64-bit systems but you'll probably need to do the same thing. i.e.

    sudo apt-get -P gnash gnash-common mozilla-plugin-gnash flashplugin-nonfree libflash-swfplayer

    Thanks, uninstalling the gnash stuff took care of the problem.

    After browsing YouTube for the past hour or so Fire Fox will crash with random videos a second after clicking the link to it.
