Automate PNG to PDF conversion?

Just wanted to add in -

If your scans are huge and you want to make a smaller-size PDF, just add "-resample X%", where 0<X<100.. play with it.

For my 300dpi document scans, this worked nicely:

convert -resample 45% doc*.png doc.pdf

-resize changes the document dimensions, but -resample leaves the scan dimensions intact. -quality seems to have little effect here.
