Hi:

I would appreciate any help or pointers for my networking problem, which appears to be Samba related.

I was running Gutsy 7.10 when some recent patches seemed to get my system rebooting constantly. Since the update manager offered the option to upgrade to Hardy 8.04, I decided to do the upgrade.

After the upgrade, I am am having access failures for large files when doing network access. Specifically I am accessing video files from a Windows MCE system from my Ubuntu system. After a few minutes of playing the video, Windows gives an network access error.

I have checked the Samba options and a few articles have suggested "lfs" option, but I am not able to find any documentation on this option.

Any guidance or pointers to fixing this would be great.
