    Just had a thought. Will I have better results with the TV card (DVR), if I go with nvidia? Also concerned about how to judge if a 550 watt power supply is enough.

    Wow,I frequent Newegg and had never heard of this. Do you know of any that are similar but are more...up to date? Doesn't list Phenoms or anything higher than an nVidia 8800. Thanks!

    Well folks, it's built and running. Am sending this from my new box. Needs two tweaks. Sound isn't up to par and need to tweak the graphics. Was so impressed with this setup that I built a similar box for the wife. Since her computer needs are not intense I used a AMD Athlon 64X2 processor , on board ATI 3250 graphics and dropped down to Kingston 800 HyperX Memory. Both run great. Thanks to everyone for your responses. This is a great community full of great people and I am glad to be part of it. Many thanks to all of you. Lee
