intel dual screen

Hello.

I have a laptop with a Intel GMA X3100 graphics chip (intel i965 family) with a 1280x800 resolution and an external 19" LCD with 1280x1024 resolution.

Now if I connect the external LCD on the laptop the Screen resolution program detects the LCD. No matter where I position the external LCD and apply it just can't set the LCD to be separated from the laptop's screen.

Any ideas?

I have the same problem but with the S-Video TV OUT. 8.04 64-bit detects it, but the screen is black.. anxiously waiting for some help!
