Hi
I've a problem with my Broadcom Card under Ubuntu 8.04 with B43 drivers
At university we have a Wi-Fi protected line for access to the net. Obviously, the staff can't say me how to configure the connection, so I deduced the parameters from Windows XP instructions:

WPA/PEAP
TKIP
EAP MSCHAPV2
username
password
no automatic reconnection

When the network is recognized, the connections started. The signal is strong

Code:
$ iwlist wlan0 scan
wlan0     Scan completed :
          Cell 01 - Address: 00:16:9D:44:ED:90
                    ESSID:"Wi-Fi_UniNa"
                    Mode:Master
                    Channel:13
                    Frequency:2.472 GHz
                    Quality=61/100  Signal level=-46 dBm  Noise level=-72 dBm
                    Encryption key:on
                    IE: WPA Version 1

                        Authentication Suites (2) : Proprietary 802.1x

I set security as WPA Business (I think is in english), key type TKIP, Phase2 Type MSCHAPV2, username, password. So I'm connected, but connection is terribly unstable. Signal is high but I've only 31% of signal. Sometimes, iwlist scan tells me 58% of signal but network manager 0%, sometimes with 35% of signal I can't access the net, sometimes, after a few minutes with 0% of signal, it disconnect, trying to reconnect asking me password (without asking some other times) and reconnect.
Wi-Fi card works properly 'cause I can access other network without a problem
Wi-Fi network works properly 'cause my friend can access network under Windows XP or MacOS
Password and username are correct.
I've tried to set key type and Phase2 type to default in many combination, but nothing happens.
I remember that, before installing 8.04, network works fine with ndiswrapper (a little more unstable as in Windows, but worked) so I think it can be a driver problem, maybe a incompatibility or an unsupported type of communication... I don't know...

This is what I read typing dmesg. I don't understand where can be the problem. This cover the intervarl from connection to automatic disconnection.
