    how do I make my new ipod shuffle to work?

    Do I have to mount it on a windows system first?
    is there a way I can make it work directlly on ubuntu?

    If someone asks you to sudo rm -rf anything, don't do it, and don't run any command with rm in it unless you know exactly what you're doing.things i have learnt changing from Xp pro to Ubuntu

    For me it works fine in RythmBox by default...I jus plug it in and rythbox loads i can transfer songs both ways....
