Right click to save the picture, then insert it. There is no easy way that I know of.

i dont know why OO writer is responding this way.

when i try to copy entire website (pictures + text)(ctrl A + copy) to OO writer, images dont get loaded , some times when the copied matter has large content , open office writer quits.

just plzz try to copy some entite website wid some text and images and tell me ur experience and a fix for it.

    Re: Basic operation problem

Works for me on Gutsy with firefox 2 and open office 2.3. I just tried it with the text and image at the top of the forum page, the OO.org status bar said importing document for a while but it all came through. Just a note that I am using glipper (clipboard manger) so I don't know if that makes any difference.

If it doesn't work for you others have posted the solution, save the image (in FF3 you can just drag it to your desktop) then import it using open office.
