Scrolling problems on Thinkpad X60 Tablet

Ok folks, here's the deal.

I have a Thinkpad X60 tablet running the latest version of Ubuntu (8.04), and I can't get my middle button scroll functionality to work.

I've searched the forums and tried everything that people have posted, like adding those lines to xorg.conf and installing the trackpoint configuration utility, to no avail. I just can't figure out what's wrong! HALP!

I have noticed this as well. Did you do an upgrade or a fresh install?

I've got a Thinkpad T61p. I started with Ubuntu 7.10 (64bit) and upgraded.

I have no resolution to this yet either.
