    Airport Extreme Card in 8.04

So to make a long story short, I'm trying to use my Airport Extreme (BCM4306) wireless card to access my home network, but it fails to see any available networks no matter what. I've basically tried every fix out there, gotten the firmware extracted into the /lib/firmware directory, modprobed bcm43xx, etc., etc.

I'm running a G5 Power Mac, PPC system with two hard drives, if that makes any difference.

Could someone throw me a line here? Also, I heard some rumor that wireless is unsupported on PowerMacs with over a gig of ram installed. That sounds bogus to me, but then again I'm a complete noob. Is there any possibility that my particular setup is constitutionally incapable of operating my wireless card under Hardy?

    Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem, but on an iMac G5. I haven't found any fixes.
