my camera just died, so i am in the market for a new one. I was hoping someone might have some suggestions on what to buy. I only have 4 requirements that I am looking for and one is optional.
1. linux compatible.
2. raw image downloads (not a must)
3. rapid image
4. under $200
rapid image being 2 or 3 quickly before having to stop and let it catch up. I have also heard that you get better image quality if you can download them in a "raw" format.
here is the catch (there had to be one). I am open to digital video cameras also if they can take good still images.
Generally we don't print anything bigger than 4X6, but i do use them as my desktop wallpaper alot. my biggest concern is linux compatible that's why i figured i would start here. thanks for any advice.
