    Beryl Themes For Hardy?

After installing 8.04, it appears that Hardy has integrated Beryl, correct?

If so, is it possible to add Beryl themes?

Well, hardy has Compiz fusion, which is better than beryl since it is still developed. The themes I think you are reffering to are Emerald themes, and you can broswe them in System > Preferences > Emerald theme manager. There are a bunch there, and you can make it fetch more, also you can manaully download some at http://compiz-themes.org/.

Go to Synaptic and search for Emerald. If it is not installed, mark for installation and install.

Question Re: Beryl Themes For Hardy?

okay, got Emerald installed, and was able to import a few themes. However, I am unable to actually apply a new theme in the Emerald Manager after highlighting it.

    Am I missing something?

Hi and use the keys alt, F2 and use the command
    Code:
    emerald --replace
just copy and paste that command

or you can install fusion-icon then you can just right click on it select window decorator and choose emerald, it can also be used to toggle between metacity kwin or compiz as your window manager.
