While this guide is rather comprehensive and good for those users who like to read long explanations and really try to understand processes, I think it's worth plugging some other software installation tutorials that serve different needs.

Hi - as you can tell from the first few lines of the thread - it's not actually mine to yay or nay - I didn't do any of the original task and massive it must have been. All I have done is make sure links work and turn most of the feisty references in to ones for hardy.
