Suggestion for new router

Right now my family is using a Netgear MR814 wireless router. It's probably a good 5 or 6 years old, and it's dying slowly and painfully. It's gotten to the point where it needs to be hard reset several times a day. I've finally managed to convince my dad that we have to replace it. Can anyone offer suggestions as to what router to purchase as a replacement? <$50 would be ideal.
