Oh that is silly of me. I should have known to do that on my own. I have had ubuntu long enough to know that.
Alright it just says:
Code:SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such file or directory

Looks like the drivers for your broadcom aren't working, or maybe even installed. If I had any experience with these broadcoms i'd recommend a howto, but I don't know which ones are good...
100 buckets of bits on the bus,
100 buckets of bits,
Take one down, short it to ground,
FF buckets of bits on the bus.
Hmm alright. I really need to get this internet to work. This annoying me, haha.
Here give this a shot:

If you get online with wired - you should be able to enable fwcutter in Hardware / Restricted Drivers.Code:00:09.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)
Which version of Ubuntu are you using?
Beginners: Enter Code entries in Terminal | Wifi help? | How to get help here

Well I do have the kind of device stated, unfortunately it didn't tell me useful. I still can't get any of this to work.
I am also using ubuntu 8.04 and in hardware drivers it says no propritary drivers are in use and the list is empty.

Since it is now showing up, you can install b43-fwcutter. It will bring up a screen asking if you want it to have it find the firmware for you. If you have a working internet connection, say yes and it should take of it for you.
Its finally working, thank you to everyone who helped me fix this. I think the fwcutter driver is what finally fixed it.
