I've just upgraded my 7.10 to 8.04 on a HP530. I did it wirelessly and for some reason lost the restricted wireless driver. I then plugged in an ethernet cable, found I had to reboot for 8.04 to find it, then found the hardware driverers under System/Admin and then it was all automatic. The odd clue would be useful or a message indicating removal of driver used on 7.10.

Anyway the problem I now have is that the sound is crap. Was ok on 7.04 and 7.10. Where do I start to look or what do I need to understand to fix it. Is it a new feature on 8.04?
