    VMware and ubuntu

    ok so i've dual booted my mac (used to be triple boot but i nvr used windows partition). So my question is in vmware is there anyway to run a vm of ur linux partition, u can do that with a windows partition.

    Apparently some people have done this, but it requires some tinkering to get it to work.

    Fair warning, I hosed a dual boot setup this way one time. I got away from my desk after starting my VM, and booted my linux setup in my linux setup. NOT a good idea.
