    Monitoring MSI P35 Platinum Combo

    Hiya.

I have a MSI P35 Platinum Combo motherboard and an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU and I want to be able to monitor the temperature of my CPU.

I followed this article: http://www.xawk.com/ubuntu-cpu-temperature.html but when I click Applications -> System tools -> X sensors it doesn't seem to work, and when I run it from a terminal I get the following error:

Sensor 'f71882fg' not supported by xsensors!
Sensor 'coretemp' not supported by xsensors!
Sensor 'coretemp' not supported by xsensors!
Does this mean that my Motherboard's chipset is not supported by lm-sensors? Or by xsensors? Does anyone know if there's likely to be a solution? Or do I just have to wait until someone implements support for my chipset?

    Ta,
    Robin.

    does no-one have a clue?

It occurred to me that if at all possible it would be very useful to include CPU temperature by default in the System Monitor. In the Resources tab.
