Ubuntu on an iBook

Is there anyway I could get the latest version of Ubuntu on my ibook? Its got the old PowerPC processor at 1.2 ghz and 512mb of RAM.

I think your ibook should run nicely with 512mb of ram. Hopefully you won't have to pass any kernel parameters at boot time. Note that I used to have the 12" model, and with Gutsy on this model, Network Manager used a lot of resources, so it ran slow until I disabled that. Not sure if this would be the case with Hardy, but just a heads up to run TOP or maybe HTOP after install...
